Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give an email or phone number?

No. Fiabelle never asks for an email, phone number, or real name. Your account is created automatically on your device โ€” there is nothing to sign up for.

How do I recover my account if I get a new phone?

During setup you're shown a one-time backup code. Enter it on your new device to restore your family. Because there is no email or password, this code is the only way back in โ€” so don't lose it. We store only a hashed version and can't recover it for you.

Is Fiabelle connected to my bank or crypto exchange?

No. Fiabelle links no bank, card, or exchange and moves no money. Every balance and transaction is entered manually by your family. It's a tracker, not a wallet.

What data does Fiabelle store about us?

Only what you type in to run your ledger: member nicknames, avatars, and the money figures for balances, transactions, and family loans. Nothing that identifies a person. See the privacy policy for details.

How does a child join the family?

A parent creates the family and generates a short-lived, single-use invite code that expires quickly. Each device binds to one member.

Where do the crypto and currency prices come from?

From our own cached price service, which reads public market data. Only currency codes and coin symbols (like "KRW" or "BTC") are sent โ€” never anything about you. Stock prices are entered manually.

Which platforms are supported?

Fiabelle launches on iOS first, with Android to follow. The app is built to run on both.

How do I delete my data?

You control your data in-app: remove members and delete entries at any time. Since accounts are device-based and hold no identifying information, there is no separate profile to erase.
