Fiabelle is a family allowance and asset tracker built around a single principle: we do not collect personal data about you. There is no account email, no phone number, and no real name — anywhere. This page explains, plainly, what Fiabelle stores, what it does not, and why.

The short version. No email, phone, or real name is ever collected. Your account lives on your device. The only things stored are the nicknames, avatars, and money figures you type in — none of which identify you. There is no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

What we do not collect

  • No email addresses. Sign-up and sign-in never ask for one.
  • No phone numbers. There is no SMS or phone verification.
  • No real names. Members are identified only by a chosen nickname.
  • No contacts, location, or device identifiers used for advertising or tracking.
  • No analytics or behavioural tracking of any kind (see below).

How accounts work

Accounts are device-based. Each device is bound to a member through anonymous authentication — a random, per-device identity that carries no personal information. A parent creates the family and adds member profiles; each device binds to one member.

Recovery uses a one-time backup code shown once during setup. It is stored on our servers only as a cryptographic hash (Argon2) — never in plain text — so it cannot be read back, logged, or sent anywhere. Adding a child's device uses a short-lived, single-use invite code that expires quickly. It contains no personal data.

What we store

Only the content you enter to run your family ledger:

  • Nicknames you choose for family members.
  • Avatars — a picked illustration or a photo you add.
  • Money figures — balances, transactions, wallets, and family loans / IOUs.

All of this is scoped to your family and protected by row-level security, so one family can never read or write another family's data.

Avatars & photos

A photo you add is downscaled on your device and stored in a private storage bucket, reachable only through short-lived signed links. Photos are never placed in a public bucket and are never used for recognition, advertising, or any purpose other than showing an avatar inside your family.

Manual money — no financial linking

Fiabelle performs no money movement and links no bank accounts, cards, or crypto exchanges. There is no bank login, no exchange OAuth, and no open banking. Every balance and transaction is entered manually by the family. Fiabelle never has access to any real financial account.

Prices & the data we send out

To show values, the app asks our own cached price service, which fetches public market data from third-party price providers (currently Frankfurter for FX and CoinGecko for crypto). Only currency codes and coin symbols are sent upstream — for example "USD", "KRW", "BTC". No account data, balances, or anything about you is included in those requests. Stock prices are entered manually.

No analytics, ads, or tracking

Fiabelle contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We do not build profiles, we do not sell or share data (we hold none that could be sold), and this website sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts.

Children's privacy

Fiabelle is designed for families to use together and collects no email, phone, or real name from anyone — including children. A parent manages the family and its member profiles.

Where data lives

Family data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Supabase) protected by row-level security. Access is limited to your own family through the app.

Your control

Because accounts are device-based and hold no identifying information, there is no profile to manage. You can remove members and delete entries at any time. Questions? See the support page.

The date at the top of this page is updated whenever the policy changes. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
